WHAT IS ENCLOSED VEHICLE TRANSPORT?

Enclosed vehicle transport is a way of shipping a vehicle that provides extra protection. If you’re the proud owner of any high-end or custom car worth more that 50,000, enclosed car transport is the perfect choice. Enclosed transportation means that the vehicle will be sealed in a trailer through the entirety of its journey. Not only does this provide protection and security for the vehicle, but it often comes with a higher degree with service and attention. Enclosed transport means that the vehicle will be sealed from hail, snow, sleet, rocks, and other flying road debris. Hard-sided trailers also offer a level of climate control, protecting your valuable vehicle from cold and heat.

WHAT IS OPEN VEHICLE TRANSPORT

Shipping by open carrier is more affordable. Seven to 10 vehicles can be loaded onto a two-tier trailer and shipped at one time, which saves you money. Plus, an open-air trailer is lighter than an enclosed trailer, resulting in cheaper fuel costs. For shorter routes, we dispatch flatbed trailers that are single-level and can fit 3-4 vehicles. Our drivers, of course, are expertly trained and experienced and are extremely careful in loading and unloading vehicles

cleaning service

Cleaning services are available to ensure your vehicle looks just the way it did on the showroom floor upon delivery.

DELIVERY TO YOUR DOOR

Door delivery is available. Restrictions do apply due to low-hanging trees, power lines and other obstructions. If these restrictions are present, we’ll make arrangements to deliver your vehicle as close as possible to your door.

WE PICK UP YOUR VEHICLE

A few hours before your scheduled pick-up time, the car carrier will give your phone call. We need to confirm the pick-up location is accessible for large commercial vehicles. If location is not accessible, please let them know and they can arrange a better location. An example would be meeting them in a wider street, where you work, or at a parking lot.

The driver and yourself must inspect your vehicle closely before it’s loaded. Record any dings, dents, scratches, or other existing damage on the BILL OF LADING. This is a crucial document in the covered car transport process, and you must keep your copy safe. The driver will take a clear photo of the BILL OF LADING and send it to your email.

The carrier will then load your vehicle into the enclosed auto transport trailer. You can track the progress of your shipment by GPS tracking.

Your vehicle has arrived

Final step in the enclosed car transport process is receiving your vehicle.  A few hours before the carrier arrives, they’ll contact you letting you know they’re almost there. It’s also a courtesy call to make sure you’re available. If you’re otherwise engaged, you can nominate a trusted friend, relative, neighbor, or colleague to accept delivery on your behalf. They do, however, have to be at least 18 years of age.
